Virginia Living Museum’s Groundhog Day Ceremony, Feb. 2
Groundhog Day Ceremony
February 2, 2020
1 – 2 p.m.
The Virginia Living Museum’s groundhog, Chesapeake Chuck, will make his official groundhog weather forecast on Groundhog Day, Sunday, Feb. 2. WAVY-TV 10 Meteorologist Jeremy Wheeler will be on hand to assist Chesapeake Chuck in the annual ceremony held in the outdoor amphitheater (snow, rain or shine!). Chesapeake Chuck has been predicting since 2011.
Also, just in time for the SuperBowl Chuck will also give us his prediction for Sunday’s big game! Wear your team colors and come out to cheer on Chuck and have some SuperBowl fun!
Forget Punxsutawney Phil… he has nothing on Hampton Roads’ own Chesapeake Chuck! See you on Groundhog Day, February 2.
Groundhog ceremony included in Museum admission. Additional information
