Indulge in the allure of the 1920s to 1950s, as the evening pays tribute to the iconic stars, fashion, and movies that defined an era. This is a black tie gala so dress to impress in your black suit and gown with a hint of old Hollywood glamour. And yes, there will be music…and only the best! The exceptional live jazz band, Good Shot Judy, will be performing. Throughout the evening, heavy Hors d’oeuvres will be served alongside beer and wine.
Bridges of Change, a domestic violence shelter that serves Charles City, King and Queen, King William, New Kent counties and the City of West Point, is excited to announce the new date for their 3rd Annual Golden Age of Hollywood Gala.
The event will take place on February 17, 2024, at Colonial Downs Ballroom in New Kent, Virginia starting at 7:00 pm. The theme for the ball is the Golden Age of Hollywood.
Your ticket will include a night of dancing, heavy Hors d’oeuvres, 2 tickets for silent auction (you are welcome to purchase additional tickets, signature cocktail and an evening of fun. Guests are welcome to try their luck at Rosies before, during or after the event. Come bring your friends for a glamorous night out.

Bridges of Change is a non-profit emergency domestic violence shelter that provides free emergency shelter and wrap-around services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. They provide programs and key referrals to other community resources encompassing counseling, education, job skills, financial counseling, and housing. Through victim advocacy, education, and support, we strive to empower survivors and create a community that is free from the devastating effects of abuse.
