Glow Run 5k &1 Mile Fun Run – June 17

Grab your kids, your friends, your neighbors, your team and light up the night at our 5K or 1-mile Glow Run! Take to the streets in New Town in Williamsburg dressed in all things bright and shiny. Flash and sparkle your way around the course, and then cool your heels at the post-run party. Before we send everyone off glowing around the course, we will be handing out special prizes for Glow runners who are the brightest, most flashy, and most reflective. Time to get ready to GLOW!

The 5K and 1-mile fun run will be untimed, so if you want to take your time and soak in the evening, you won’t have the pressure of a clock to beat. Each entrant will receive a glow-in-the-dark T-shirt, a glow stick, and access to a pre- and post-race party at New Town.

If you have friends who are on the fence about running, please let them know that online registration will be open until the day of the event, and we will have on-site registration available during packet pickup.

Prizes

At the pre-run party we will be handing out awards for whoever catches our eye.  Make sure you are the brightest, have most creative use of glow sticks, or best costume, and you may get a prize flying your way.

1-Mile Fun Run

• $20 (Until 5/20/2016)

• $25 (Until 6/3/2016)

• $30 (until race day)

• $35 on-site

Add 3 or more glow runners of the same distance to your cart when checking out and get $5 off the 5K and $2 off the 1-mile.

Only one discount may be applied per entry. Active.com charges a small fee in addition to the entry fee for online registration.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be available at Legacy Hall in New Town starting at 5:30 PM on race day.

Gear

For the Williamsburg Glow run you will need a pair of running shoes and your normal running attire. A head lamp or small flashlight will be helpful if you are going to be walking. Plus you can add to your outfit anything that makes you stand out in a crowd. Let’s see how bright and colorful you can glow! You can win prizes for having the brightest, flashiest, and most reflective attire. (Start planning your outfit!)

Volunteer

The heart of a great event is its volunteers. If you have a passion for helping out and are interested in volunteering for this event, we’d love to have you join the fun!  We have options for individuals, groups and families.  Donations to charities  are available.  Looking to complete service hours? Click here to signup to volunteer.

Cancellations and Transfers

Participant cancellations

Entry fees are nonrefundable. Sorry, no exceptions. Entries are transferable to another participant up to 1 week before race day. All transfers must be done through Active.com and there is a $5 transfer fee. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You also may not transfer your registration to the following year or another event.

Transfers

If you would like to transfer your regsitration to a different person, log into your Active.com account, where you will have the option to change to transfer your regsitration. There is a $5 transfer fee Transfers can be made up to 1 week before race day.

Event change and cancellation

Rev3 Adventure reserves the right to alter, postpone, or cancel any race for safety concerns. In the event the race is canceled, no refunds or credits will be provided. In the event a participant cannot attend a rescheduled date, no refunds or credits will be provided.
