FULL MOON HIKES in Freedom Park – FREE

Ever wondered what animals are lurking once the sun goes down? Do you enjoy guessing what could be making that weird noise in the trees around you? Explore Freedom Park after dark during the full moon night this fall! In this self-guided hike, the Park will be open late, past sunset.

After sunset, visitors may only use Multiuse Trail 3; the full moon hikes are a walking loop that start and end along this trail which is a one-mile, paved ADA-compliant trail winding through wooded forest and the Colby Swamp.

No registration required. For more information, call the park at 757-259-4022 between 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily for more information. Free! Weather permitting. Happy trailing!

Pink Moon: Monday, March 25 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. 
Flower Moon: Tuesday, April 23 from 8-9 p.m. 

Freedom Park is located at 5537 Centerville Road, Williamsburg.
