Front Porch Project – Williamsburg VA Edition!

Front Porch Photos – Williamsburg VA Edition!

By now I am sure you have heard of the Front Porch Project that has been happening on front porches around the country since early April. This is a fun way to document our stay at home time with a family picture or two on our porches, lawn or street. Classic shots or classically silly shots – it doesn’t matter – these photos are fun and a good way to capture this time. If you haven’t seen them – just search #frontporchproject and a bunch will come up.

So Williamsburg – if you are interested in getting a fun photo snapped of your family there are several safe ways to do it. And make sure to use #frontporchwmgbva or #frontporchprojectwmbgva so we can all find each other!

Here are ways to do the Front Porch Project:

  1. Done by yourself: Set up a tripod on your lawn and with a clip for your phone – then set the timer on your phone camera and there you go.
  2. Help from a friend: Call your neighbor or friend and offer to do theirs if they take your family photo – just remember 6 feet please. 🙂
  3. Call a local photographer to come take them – just remember 6 feet please. 🙂 See our list of local photographers below and if you are a photographer and want to be added to this list just email olivia@williamsburgfamilies.com – it is free to be listed here.
