FREE WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM! WINTER IS COMING – IS YOUR HOME READY?

Weatherization may REDUCE home energy bills 30-50% while increasing the comfort and safety of your home! Homeowners and renters may qualify for FREE WEATHERIZATION services! These services are free to those Home Owner’s and Renter’s that qualify based on total household income. This is a federally funded program administered by the Williamsburg-James City County Community Action Agency and serves: Williamsburg, James City County, York County, Newport News, Poquoson, Hampton, Suffolk, Franklin, Isle of Wight and Southampton.

A representative will be available at the following times and locations to assist in the application process:

  • 9/16 – 11am-2pm Main Street Library, 110 Main St, Newport News, VA 23601.
  • 9/17 – 9am-12pm Pearl Bailey Library, 2510 Wickham Ave, Newport News, VA 23607.
  • 9/18 – 12pm-3pm Carrollton Library, 14362 New Towne Haven Ln, Carrollton, VA 23314.
  • 9/19 – 11am-2pm Walter Cecil Rawls Library, 22511 Main St, Courtland, VA 23837.
  • 9/23 – 10am-1pm Poquoson Municipal Building, 830 Poquoson Ave, Poquoson VA 23662.
  • 9/24 – 10am-1pm Community Action Agency, 312 Waller Mill Rd. Rm #801, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
  • 9/25 – 10am-1pm Hampton Library, 4207 Victoria Blvd Hampton, VA 23669.
  • 9/26 – 11am-2pm Morgan Memorial Library, 443 West Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434.

Complete an application with proof of ownership and income, and a copy of recent utility bill.
