FREE WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM

 

WINTER IS COMING! IS YOUR HOME READY?

Weatherization may REDUCE home energy bills 30-50% while increasing the comfort and safety of your home! Services are FREE to Home Owner’s and Renter’s that qualify based on total household income! A federally funded program administered by Williamsburg-James City County Community Action Agency and serves: Williamsburg, James City County, York County, Newport News, Poquoson, Hampton, Suffolk, Franklin, Isle of Wight and Southhampton. A representative will be available at the following times and locations to assist in the application process:

  • 11/18 – 11am-2pm, Carrollton Library, 14362 New Towne Haven Ln., Carrollton, VA 23314.
  • 11/20 – 11am-2pm, Hampton Library, 4207 Victoria Blvd., Hampton, VA 23669.
  • 11/24 – 10am-1pm, Main Street Library, 110 Main St., Newport News, VA 23601.

Complete an application with proof of ownership and income, and a copy of recent utility bill.
