Famed cartoon producers Hanna and Barbera watched Dr. No and decided to create a cartoon based along the same premise. With the help of comic artist Doug Wildey, they brought the dark lines and comic book sense of style to television cartoons. It was the rst cartoon to air on all three TV stations, held a Friday evening time slot with a 21 piece big band jazz ensemble creating all music scores.
