Free Concert – The Tidewater Intergenerational Orchestra – Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Bede Catholic Church

The Tidewater Intergenerational Orchestra will hold a FREE concert on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Road in Williamsburg.  The program will include works stemming from the Baroque Period by Albinoni to a premier for solo bass and orchestra by composer-performer Donovan Stokes.  Other works in the program will include the Capriol Suite by Warlock and the return of Dr. Wanchi Huang performing the Bottesini Grand Duo for orchestra, solo violin, and double bass with Dr. Stokes.  At the concert, the newly formed Tidewater Intergenerational Band will make its debut.  Under the skillful baton of Maestro Paul Lindsay, the group of wind players will consist of members of military bands, adult members of the community, and accomplished students.  For more information, please call (757) 229-3631 or visit www.bedeva.org/concerts.
