VCE Family Focus Playgroups for ages up to 5 years – September
Family Focus is an organization that provides support and strengthens families and promotes the well being of children through community-based and culturally sensitive prevention services.
Family Focus provides an array of services to families which includes parent education classes, support groups for parents and caregivers, home visits, teen parent support within the schools, preschool programs and parent-child interactive learning groups.
Enrollment is required for all VCE, FCS Family Focus playgroups – Space is limited. To enroll for MAY groups please call (757) 564-2173 and leave a message. The fee per playgroup is $5.00. Cash or Checks payable to VCE-JCC (There is a $50 return check fee.) Scholarships are available upon request.
The VCE, FCS Family Focus Center in York County will be offering the following programs for parents and/or caregivers and their children at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 118 Old York-Highway, Yorktown.
Infant/Toddler (All ages to 5 years old) Playgroup – Monday, Sept. 12,19 & 26 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Infant/Toddler (All ages to 5 years old) Playgroup – Tuesday, Sept. 6, 13, 20 & 27 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
The VCE, FCS Family Focus Center in James City County will be offering the following programs for parents and/or caregivers and their children
Infant/Toddler (All ages to 5 years old) Playgroup – Thursday, Sept. 1, 8, 22 & 29 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Al’s Pals Preschool Program (Ages 3-5) – September 9 through May 26 on Fridays from 9:30am-11am. Registration has started for the 2022-2023 program. Unlike playgroup it is a drop-off program for 3-5 year old’s. Enrollment is required. The program begins in September and ends at the end of May.
Intergenerational Al’s Pals Program (Ages 3-5) – September 13 through May 25 on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:30am-11am. Space is limited, enrollment required, call 757-564-2173. $50 per month. Registration has started now for our 2022-2023 program at the JAMES CITY COUNTY Center. Unlike playgroup it is a drop-off program for 3-5 year old’s. Enrollment is required. The program begins in September and ends at the end of May.
