Yorktown Market Days – National Farmers Market Week
August 3 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
We’ll recognize the national impact farmers markets have on their communities—by preserving farmland through economic viability and encouraging engagement between neighbors. Products from these farms go through just two hands—the farmer and customer—before reaching the plate.
Families can play lawn games (on the grassy area across from Water Street Grille) and pick up free “I Love Farmers Markets” temporary tattoos and coloring sheets for the kids at a table next to the Riverwalk Landing Stage. Guests will also be able to plant seeds in biodegradable starter pods courtesy of Yorktown Feed Seed N’ More.
Shop from local vendors selling beautiful woodwork, glassware, leather goods, and more!
There is no charge to attend the market, and it is held rain or shine. Learn more at yorktownmarketdays.com.
