Wreaths Across America

Honor Our Fallen Heroes at Yorktown National Cemetery
On Saturday, December 14, the public is invited to pay tribute to fallen heroes during the Wreaths Across America event at the Yorktown National Cemetery. The ceremony begins at 12 p.m. and will involve placing commemorative wreaths on the resting places of our nation’s veterans, accompanied by the reading aloud of each hero’s name. Beginning at 11 a.m., the Yorktown Trolley will be used to provide shuttle service to the National Cemetery. Please note that parking is not available at the Yorktown National Cemetery, so participants will park at the Colonial National Historical Park’s Visitor Center or the York County Courthouse to board the shuttle.
