A Tribute to Nick’s Seafood Pavilion

September 7 @ 6:00 pm 9:00 pm

For those that remember Nick’s Seafood Pavilion closed in 2003. This was a very special restaurant to many locals as well as tourists.

Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation will celebrate the remarkable lives and enduring legacy of the late Nick and Mary Mathews, cherished Yorktown restaurateurs whose generosity provided the land where the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown now stands.

Enjoy a cocktail hour, with live entertainment and hors d’oeuvres. Preview the upcoming exhibition, “Patrons & Patriots: The Legacy of Nick and Mary Mathews,” a tribute to their dedication and love for our community.

Next, enjoy a seafood dinner with wine pairings inspired by Nick’s original menus. The night will conclude with a paddle raise, ensuring that the Mathews’ legacy of giving and community spirit continues to support the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation’s mission.

In the spirit of Mary’s iconic fashion sense, attire is black tie optional

Proceeds from this event will support special exhibitions at our museums.
