A group of Civil War soldiers escape a prison camp in a balloon that carries them to a remote island populated by startling creatures and an astonishing secret. Vicious pirates take over a remote island with plans to lure passing ships to their doom. The island’s sole surviving lighthouse keeper attempts to thwart their diabolical scheme.
