The Annual Sounds of Summer Concert Series outdoor concert series in Yorktown is free and open to the public. Concerts run every Thursday night from May 22 through August 14. The lineup features an eclectic mix of Beach Music, Motown, Pop, and R&B. 

The Deloreans are a seasoned showband comprised of 6 distinct vocalists that cover the most memorable artists and nostalgic songs of the ‘80s. Each band member is featured throughout the show, making this band’s most notable attribute its unmatched variety. The Deloreans is known for their dynamic ‘80s costumes, unstoppable energy, and their ability to bring down the house every time. Collectively, they have performed in over 6 countries, for several heads of state, and for three sitting U.S. Presidents. With over 2,000 shows under their belt, their talent is finely tuned, and their show is time-proven.

 Before the entertainment begins, visitors are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy dinner or dessert at any of Historic Yorktown’s waterfront restaurants including Water Street Grille, Carrot Tree, Umi Sushi, Ben & Jerry’s, and Yorktown Pub.

 Guests are permitted to bring their own blankets, chairs, and small coolers. No tables, umbrellas, or tents are allowed. There will be a dance floor, friendly games of corn hole, and tasty, to-go meals from rotating food trucks available for purchase.

 Free parking is available at designated public parking lots throughout town, including York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, and County Administration Building. The complimentary, wheelchair-accessible Yorktown Trolley runs from 5 to 9:30 p.m. during every concert with a modified route that still includes some of the stops on the outskirts of town.
