Celebrate the lives and philanthropy of Nick and Mary Mathews, beloved Yorktown restauranteurs who donated the land for the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. Nick’s Seafood Pavilion, which opened in 1944, became a Virginia icon known for its delicious seafood, unique interior, and the warm hospitality of its owners—Greek immigrants turned American patriots. Explore the stories of their famous patrons, from Elizabeth Taylor to John Wayne, and discover rare objects that defined this iconic establishment. The special exhibition is included with museum admission.
