Jenna Bash Festival
August 3 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
The Jenna Bash Festival will include a games, inflatables and a waterslide for the kids ($5 wristband includes all kids activities plus prizes), vendors both indoors and out, food by Holy Smoke, a bake sale, adoptions by the New Kent Humane Society, a butterfly release, live music, spins at the Restaurant Wheel, and a huge silent auction. A $5 parking donation would be greatly appreciated to support the food pantry.
It started as a fundraiser for a small, local food pantry in New Kent County. The Jenna Bash Festival, was to be a carnival style family event in memory of Jenna Grace King, a 17 year old who died in a car accident. Now, it is an annual fundraising event for Proclaiming Grace Outreach. Since 2008, PGO has expanded its reach, bridging the gap of services needed between Williamsburg and Richmond. The programs PGO provides for are a food pantry, clothing and other services to help the disadvantaged and those with economic hardships. The need for these services are growing more and more for the rural areas of New Kent County and James City County.
The Jenna Bash Festival helps to support the food pantry, local high school scholarships, car and home repairs, clothing for local shelters and more.
