Free Paddlecraft Rentals

Enjoy free paddlecraft rentals at two James City County waterfront parks, James City County Marina and Chickahominy Riverfront Park. Available rentals include single and tandem kayaks, standup paddleboards (James City County Marina only) and canoes. Paddlecraft are available first come, first served during normal operating hours and include life jackets.

Photo Identification is required for all rentals. All Ages; 15 & younger with parent/guardian. Renters must be age 18 or older, or have a guardian age 18 or older sign the waiver. Children ages 5-12 are permitted only on tandem kayak and canoe with a guardian age 18 or older.
