Fee-Free Day in Remembrance of President Jimmy Carter

To honor former President Jimmy Carter, Historic Jamestowne will offer free admission site-wide. Historic Jamestowne is the site of the first permanent English settlement in North America.
While the Visitor Center at Historic Jamestowne will be closed on Thursday, January 9. Jamestown Rediscovery will remain open and all admission will be waived. Additionally, the Glasshouse will be open.
To visit Jamestown, park in the Visitor Center parking lot. Follow signs to walk around the building, entering through the turnstile gate on the left (as you face the front doors). Walk to the site as usual, checking in at the Jamestown Rediscovery ticketing building (no admission required).
