Join experienced Jamestown Yorktown Foundation staff and cosplay enthusiasts to learn about and create budget-friendly props and accessories for your own costume.

1:00 – 1:45 p.m. FREE Cosplay Panel Discussion! Calling all cosplayers—whether you’re a seasoned pro or just getting started! Join in for an epic panel on DIY costumes, makeup, and prop-making. Learn how to craft awesome cosplay on a budget and add some pizzazz to your outfits with simple tweaks and accessories.
Moderator: Lara Templin, JYF Gallery Experience Supervisor and cosplay aficionado!
Panelists: Max Becker, Madi Dickens, Alicia Klimenko, Sarah Raiford, and Jay Templin—museum staff and cosplay maestros!

Museum admission is not required to attend the panel discussion or maker’s workshops, however space is limited and reservations are required. ($10 ticket is required for workshop.)

2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Cosplay Make & Take Workshops After the panel discussion, get ready for some hands-on fun with our make-and-take workshops! Join the panelists and create props and accessories for your costume. Choose one of the five awesome DIY accessories workshops to dive into! $10 per ticket. Space is limited and a reservation is required. Ages 14 and up.
