September 17 @ 10:00 am 3:00 pm

Constitution Day is September 17 and Civics Week is September 15 -20 during this time you are invited to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown to explore how legacies from early America impact present day. Programming will examine the role of civic engagement in establishing a deeper understanding of the world, its people and ourselves.

Activities offered include:

  • Build-Your-Own Constitution – Explore the flexible nature of the U.S. Constitution and examines how constitutions can be adapted as citizen’s needs change over time.
  • The Constitution Escape Room – Apply your knowledge of the American Revolution, the roots of democracy, the U.S. Constitution and the important role citizens have to make it all work as you solve puzzles and answer questions in a fun, hands-on experience.
