Coffee with a Cop

The James City County Police Department has partnered with local business Anonymous Coffee to host a Coffee with a Cop event on Nov. 12. The public is invited to visit the coffee shop at 7500 Richmond Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23188, from 8-11 a.m.
Coffee with a Cop events are hosted across the United States and provide a relaxed setting where the public can discuss various topics with law enforcement, including crime prevention, local concerns, safety education, and more. “We want to hear directly from our citizens and bridge the gap between our daily work and the needs of our community,” says Sgt. Kurt Dykstra, a supervisor within the Department’s Community Service Unit.
