Take a Leisurely Stroll on the Bassett Trace Nature Trail! 
Free & Open to the Public at 9:30 am & 10:30 am
Love nature and the great outdoors? 
Come explore Virginia’s wildlife and native habitats with Colonial Williamsburg Master Naturalist volunteers! 
They will be your guides, sharing fascinating facts about the flora and fauna along the trail and the importance of conservation. 
You can walk this trail any day – it is free an open to the public but at this time you will have a Colonial Williamsburg Master Naturalist volunteer guide.
Starting Point: The trailhead by the Griffin Hotel parking lot. 
Distance: A relaxing half-mile round trip.
After our guided walk, feel free to enjoy the full 1.4-mile trail, which ends at the Green Course Clubhouse. 
Heads up: There’s rough terrain and bugs, so wear sturdy shoes and don’t forget the insect repellant! 
Birders, bring your binoculars for a closer look at our feathered friends!
