Love nature and the great outdoors? π³π¦ Come explore Virginia’s wildlife and native habitats with Colonial Williamsburg Master Naturalist volunteers! π¦πΈ
They will be your guides, sharing fascinating facts about the flora and fauna along the trail and the importance of conservation. πΏπΌ You can walk this trail any day – it is free an open to the public but at this time you will have a Colonial Williamsburg Master Naturalist volunteer guide.
This tour meets at the trailhead located in the parking lot of the Gold Wing of the Griffin Hotel.
π Starting Point: The trailhead by the Griffin Hotel parking lot. π Distance: A relaxing half-mile round trip.
After our guided walk, feel free to enjoy the full 1.4-mile trail, which ends at the Green Course Clubhouse. ποΈποΈββοΈ
Heads up: There’s rough terrain and bugs, so wear sturdy shoes and don’t forget the insect repellant! π₯Ύπ¦ Birders, bring your binoculars for a closer look at our feathered friends! π¦ π
Weather permitting. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please plan to arrive early as space is limited for this program.
