Members of the Peninsula Fine Arts Center are invited for a sneak peek of its new exhibit, “Masterworks of American Impressionism,” featuring works by Mary Cassatt, John Singer Sargent, Childe Hassam and other famous artists of the era. Curator Diana Blanchard Gross will give a guided tour. Free for members, $10 for the public. The public can view PFAC’s new exhibit, “Masterworks of American Impressionism,” featuring works by Mary Cassatt, John Singer Sargent, Childe Hassam and other famous artists of the era.The show is complemented by a local collection of works from the Boston School, an artists’ group working, showing and critiquing each other during the early 20th century.
