The Virginia Living Museum will celebrate Earth Day with special activities for our animals and guests Saturday & Sunday, April 23 & 24. Observe the animals as they receive toys, treats and other enrichment activities to stimulate natural behaviors.
We all live on this wonderful planet we call Earth, and that means we can all do our part to learn about how it works and how to help conserve nature’s beauty. Here at the Virginia Living Museum, we love teaching all about our state’s environment and how to take action against climate change. Over this weekend, you’ll take part in a wide array of activities designed to show just how interesting and fun conservation can be Reserve your ticket
Saturday and Sunday Give Away and Give Back
Do you have lightly used towels, cloths, blankets, shoes or other items that you don’t use anymore? Bring them here and drop them off in any of the blue bins along the wall near the Front Desk. Items accepted include the following gently used items:
- towels
- sheets
- blankets
- washcloths
- nursery plant pots (no cracks)
- clean athletic shoes
- please no sandals, dress shoes, boots, or shoes with metal-like cleats or spikes
