It’s the only craft beer festival held on scenic, historic Duke of Gloucester Street right in Merchants Square. August is Virginia Craft Beer Month and we’ll feature at least a dozen VA breweries plus a few more friends under giant tents (so this is happening rain or, even worse in August, shine).
Despite what some, including us, might have you believe, beer is not always the answer. Sometimes the answer is FOOD! Specifically Summer grilling food from Chef David Everett & the DoG Street Pub kitchen. Sliders, Brats, Pork Tacos and many more surprises to keep bellies full and ready for more beer tastings. Do the right thing and buy your designated driver a $15 food-only ticket; safety doesn’t have to be expensive.
We support this event to support the charities that support our four legged best friends. It’s supportive. We worked with Anderson’s Corner Animal Hospital to identify charities that help dogs & families with adoption, education, training and even paying for surgeries when others can’t afford it. Proceeds from the festival benefit SEVA GRREAT, MAGDRL, Bay Beagle Rescue & Beagles to the Rescue along with 100% of the proceeds from the raffle that day featuring rare beers and gifts from breweries & local businesses.
There is much more and you can expect updates & details in the weeks leading up toAugust 3rd. Last year’s festival sold out so we’re increasing the number of available tickets (that number is finite however so don’t delay).
Tickets for the beer tastings are $35 and food only is $15 but you can get a combo ticket & feast all day for only $40.
Everything goes up $5 the day of the event
