Digital Magazines coming to the library
Digital magazines are coming to Williamsburg Regional Library (WRL) users thanks to a partnership between RBdigital from Recorded Books and the Library of Virginia.
Beginning June 10, WRL cardholders will have unlimited multi-user access to 50 complete digital magazines through Zinio for Libraries, the world’s largest digital newsstand. Among the 50 magazine titles available are: “Newsweek,” “Martha Stewart Living,” “Popular Science,” “Runner’s World,” “The Economist” and more. They are easily viewed on PCs, laptops and many mobile devices.
“It wasn’t difficult to follow the instructions for setting up the accounts — and I found several magazines that I’d like to read,” says Zinio user Melissa Simpson. “The picture quality was amazing. It made reading on the iPad more fun than flipping through a glossy magazine!”
