CHOWNING’S TAVERN : RE-OPENING BEGINS MARCH 4TH WITH THE CIDER STAND THEN CONTINUES WITH THE GARDEN BAR AND GRILL ON MARCH 14

Chowning’s Tavern: Re-Opening begins March 4, 2024 in stages. In the twentieth- century the original tavern accommodated travelers and locals for over fifty years. Join Colonial Williamsburg this March as they reopen select parts of this historic Tavern.

Cider Stand: March 4, 2024 – 7 days | 11 am – 5 pm

The cider stand opens Monday and will have favorite items available such as cookies, chips, cold drinks, Chowning’s Root Beer, King’s Arms Ginger Ale, cold drinks, pastries, and more.

Garden Bar & Grill: March 14, 2024 – Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Located behind Chowning’s Tavern, the Chowning’s Tavern Garden provides a casual atmosphere for open-air dining and it a local favorite.

Chowning’s Indoor dinning is TBD.
