Chanco on the James Summer Camps

Chanco on the James camp program has been running continuously since 1968 and is accredited by the American Camping Association.

This residential camp for campers ages 8 to 16 years is a place for having fun, making friends,
trying new things, and enjoying God’s creation.

Campers enjoy a range of outdoor activities, camp skits, songs, and rich traditions.

2025 Camp Dates:

Session 1: June 23-28 (ages 8-11)
Mariner’s Camp: June 22-27 (ages 12-16)
Session 2A: June 29-July 11 (ages 8-16)
Session 2B: July 6-July 11 (ages 8-10)
Wilderness Camp: July 6-11 (ages 12-16)
Session 3: July 13-25 (ages 8-16)
Adventure Camp: July 20-25 (ages 12-16)
Session 4: July 27-August 8 (ages 11-16)
Session 5: August 3-8 (ages 8-10)
Mariner’s Camp 2: August 10-15 (ages 12-16)
Family Camp: August 14-17 (all ages)
