Capt. Brewster’s Kids – Historic Jamestowne – July and August

Explore the exciting world of archaeology at Jamestown on this special kid’s tour. You’ll come face to face with Captain Brewster, one of the early English colonists and learn about the hardships he and others faced. He’ll put you and other new recruits through your paces as you muster and prepare for a Spanish or Indian attack. In addition, you’ll meet some of the archaeologists who rediscovered the 1607 James Fort and see what they are finding this season. See the actual sites where John Smith, Pocahontas, and John Rolfe walked. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Included in Historic Jamestowne admission.

This program is presented jointly by Historic Jamestowne and The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Historic Jamestowne is jointly administered by the National Park Service and The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (on behalf of Preservation Virginia) and preserves the original site of the first permanent English settlement in the New World.
