Bluebirds in our Gardens – May 17 2014 at Freedom Park
BLUEBIRDS IN OUR GARDENS — On Saturday, May 17th, the Williamsburg Botanical Garden is sponsoring a talk on how to attract bluebirds to your yard or garden. The speakers will be Nancy Barnhart and Nancy Gore, both Virginia Master Naturalists, as well as additional members of the Freedom Park Bluebird Trail team. Along with learning about “all things bluebird”, folks attending the program will visit one or more of the boxes on the bluebird trail in Freedom Park in hopes of finding eggs and/or bluebird chicks. The talk will be held at the Freedom Park Interpretive Center, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and is open to the public. A $5.00 donation per guest is recommended.
