Thursday, April 24 ā€“ Saturday, April 26 at 7:30 PM; Sunday, April 27 at 2 PM | PBK Memorial Hall
How are cities made? Block by block, brick by brick. This performance explores the imagination of a city planner, reflecting on the aspirations, labor, and cycles that shape urban spaces. Inspired by Williamsburgā€™s history as one of the first planned cities in colonial America, we examine the tension between idealized city utopias and the repetitive, often tedious work required to build them. Through collaboration, the performance evolves from simple routines to a complex, dynamic representation of urban life, blending storytelling, art, dance, and music to capture the overwhelming nature of cities.
