Trader Joe’s Kids Tours – FREE (but you have to register)

Sign up the kids for Trader Joe’s Kids Tours! They are free and they are back right in time for Spring Break! Find foods to match the rainbow, kids will love the behind the scenes tour, and shop around the world! All tours start at either 9:30 am or 11 am! Tours are on the following dates at the Williamsburg Trader Joe’s:
Monday, April 1 at 11 am
Wednesday, April 3 at 9:30 am
Thursday, April 4 at 11 am

Little Shop of Horrors at the Williamsburg Players – April 5 – 21

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush. Scares That Care presents AuthorCon III – Friday, April 12 – Sunday, April 14

AuthorCon III (a Scares That Care charity event) is coming to Williamsburg! Enjoy a fantastic weekend with authors, vendors and celebrity guests. Special on-site events including workshops, film festival, Readings, and more! Purchase weekend ticket for only $30. All funds raised are for Scares That Care, a nonprofit organization that raises money for three recipients each year: a burn victim, a breast cancer fighter, and a child with cancer. More Info

Williamsburg Farmers Market – Saturdays April 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 8 am – 12 pm

This market boasts produce, meat, seafood, plants, soaps, specialty condiments, baked goods and so much more. Bring the family, bring the dog…or just bring yourself. Go Green Market at Yorktown Market Days – Saturday, April 13 from 8 am to 12 pm

This market launches the 2024 weekly Yorktown Market Days Saturday Markets! Be sure to bring your reusable bags or pickup a free reusable bag from the information tent. There will also be a limited supply of free giveaways on site that day. Look for special exhibitors and educational children’s crafts, activities, and games.  Shop for seasonal produce; fresh baked goods; meats; fresh-cut flowers; handmade soaps and candles; honey; gourmet dog treats; and a beautiful display of work from local artists and artisans. Bikes Out of Hibernation

Williamsburg Area Bicyclists, James City County Parks & Recreation and BikeWalk Williamsburg will be offering the Bikes Out of Hibernation Event and it will be held in conjunction with Pedal the Parkway! It will be held on Saturday, April 20 from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Jamestown Settlement Parking Lot, adjacent to the Colonial Parkway. What a great way to kick off May is Bike Month! So get that neglected bike out of your garage and get it ready for Spring! Free tire pumping and minor adjustments will be given by several local bicycle shops. FREE helmets and helmet fittings! FREE refreshments! Then take your bike for a spin on the adjacent Virginia Capital Trail or the Jamestown Island loop! NO REGISTRATION – just come on down!

Busch Gardens Kids Weekends Sesame Street Forest of Fun every Friday – Sunday, March 29 – April 21
