Best places to go sledding in Williamsburg, York County, WJCC and New Kent!
We all know the downsides of snow but let’s not forget the fun! Here is a list that we will keep updating to help you find fun this weekend!
We asked on our Facebook page – “Ready, set, snow! What are the best places to sled in Williamsburg, York County, JCC and New Kent? Post your picks in comments below (please include as much info as you can to help parents – for instance “great fast hill, lots of kids, not best for toddlers though” is really helpful! Below is the list we got! We cannot vouch for all of these locations but here is what was recommended!

DJ Montague Elementary School – Far left side of the building has a great hill. There is also a small slope that will be good for the little kiddos.
Jamestown Rd at Ukrop Dr. On the edge of the College! Great sledding hill! Everyone on that side of town goes there. The parents bring their sling chairs and sit on the sidewalk at the top and watch!!!

Stonehouse Golf Course has great hills. Snowboarders, sledding its all happening here! UPDATE 12/4/22: The golf course is under new management and is no longer open to sledding and snowboarders.
