Calling all artists! “Art at the River” still taking artists!
Art at the River 2024 is taking artist applications
Calling all artists! They are still accepting applications for the 11th Annual Art at the River Juried Art Show, which is scheduled for Sunday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Painters, photographers, potters, jewelers, and other creatives will display their work along the waterfront in hopes of taking home the coveted People’s Choice Award! The event will take place on Sunday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Riverwalk Landing in Yorktown.
Artwork accepted includes original works in:
- Painting
- Clay
- Glass
- Fiber
- Basketry
- Leather
- Wood
- Graphics
- Photography
- Mixed media
Items must be conceived and executed solely by the exhibiting artist, and all work must be for sale during the show with the artist present.
Presented by the Art at the River Committee in conjunction with the Yorktown Foundation and York County, this show has welcomed over 145 area artists over the past 11 years. Special thanks to the Williamsburg Area and York County Arts Commissions for their continued support of this special event.
