9.11 Remembrance Events – Sept 11, 2020
Area 9/11 Remembrance Events
There will not be many in person gatherings this year to mark the 19th anniversary of 9/11 due to COVID-19 but there will be a few and there are many online – across the country.
It is hard for many of us to believe it happened 19 years ago. When we put it into that into perspective of our kids just starting back to school this year, everyone of them from pre-school thru high school was born after 9/11. Unlike all of us, they never knew a world where 9/11 did not happen.

Patriot Day Rally
5 pm – 6 pm at the Wmbg/JCC Courthouse
On Sept 11, 2001, 2977 people perished in a terrorist attack on New York City. The WTC Twin towers collapsed. Our nation was attacked and Americans united. Nineteen years later we are no longer united, but divided from within.Join us as we unite to celebrate our freedom. Regardless of our heritage, our skin color, and our beliefs we are Americans. Recognize our values of faith, family, personal responsibility (to self and others), free speech, the right to self-protection, the right to life, the right to live as we please. The right for us to do with our lives what we want based on our abilities and being responsible for our actions and what we do with our lives.Feel free to bring NON POLITICAL signs, banners and flags. This is a non partisan celebration of how far we have come and how far we can continue to move forward as Americans.
