Saude’ Creek Vineyards
New Kent County
Saude’ Creek is a privately owned and operated vineyard and winery located on the Pamunkey River in historic New Kent County, Virginia. The climate and mineral-rich clay soils of the Tidewater area contribute to the complex, food-friendly wines. The site once boasted Frank’s Tavern, a Colonial inn and public house for wayfarers riding between points north or west and the Colonial capitol of Williamsburg. George Washington and the French General Rochambeau, among other patriots and notables of the time, reputedly slaked their thirst here.
Good Luck Cellars

Vault Field Vineyards
Kinsale
Vault Field Vineyards is located on historic Vault Field Farm near the town of Kinsale, in the heart of Virginia’s Northern Neck. Its award winning wines are the result of a marriage between an exceptional terroir and the latest techniques in viticulture. Vault Field believes fine wines are made in the vineyard. The care of the vines is yearlong, starting with hand pruning during winter months. Next comes hand weeding and continued pruning during the growing season. Finally, in late fall, when the grapes ripen, Vault Field hand picks and sorts the individual grapes to produce high quality, premium wines.
Belle Mount Vineyards
Northern Neck/Warsaw
Belle Mount was founded in 2002, located between 2 historic mounts, Grove Mount and Mount Airy. Belle Mount is the “Beautiful Hill” between them, overlooking the Rappahannock River and Cat Point Creek. It has blossomed into a small, super-premium winey that focuses on small lots of handcrafted, vineyard-designated varietals. They grow many European grape varieties, a few hybrids and of course the historic American grape Norton, originally discovered in Richmond. Their Chardonnay, Merlot and Cab Franc are their most popular fine wines.

Made with 100 percent Virginia grapes, their boutique-style reds and whites reflect the discerning and quality craftsmanship of their experienced winemaker. Their vineyards (located in nearby Montpelier, VA) produce a bounty of varietals including Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and the ever-so-difficult Gewurztraminer – the grape on which James River Cellars Winery was founded.
