Williamsburg Aging In Place Symposium – May 10
Are you aging on purpose? Aging is not something that just happens nor is it a death sentence. There is a misconception in our society that aging
is something to fear instead of embrace. Aging is all about living. It’s about starting a new chapter. It’s about feeling good about who you are. It’s about releasing your youth and embracing your senior years. It’s about choosing how you want to grow old. In this chapter of your life you can be free to explore all that life has to offer by focusing on your self , health, and wealth.
The 2016 Aging in Place Symposium will provide the following workshops to help you focus on those three areas:
- Caring for Me While I’m Caring for You
- Leisure and Aging
- Having the Difficult Conversation with Your Family
- Aging with Pets
- Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body
- Physical Fitness
- You and Your Medicines
- Financial Preparedness
This symposium has something for everyone whether you are actively aging, haven’t given it a thought or a caregiver for an aging loved one.
