Parking in City of Williamsburg area

There is hourly street parking around Merchants Square, there are public lots around CW that are free for 30 min, and there is a paid parking garage on 230 N Henry St, Williamsburg, VA 23185 -but but be careful, because the City of Williamsburg is ticketing pretty robustly and fees get steep after the first ticket (they go up to a$300 per ticket max but there is no max on how many $300 tickets you can get). To avoid ticketing download the Passport App and pay for parking through your phone.

Ticketed guests are encouraged to park at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center, where parking is available for $10 per day, and take advantage of the complimentary bus service to the Historic Area. Parking lots require the use of the free Passport app but also offer free 30-minute parking in most cases (a Passport app $0.35 convenience fee may apply). Payment kiosks are also available in most locations.
